AFP – European stocks opened lower on Monday, with London closed for a public holiday, as traders waited to see if central banks would stimulate weak economic activity with robust monetary measures.
In Paris, the CAC 40 index of leading shares slipped by 0.30 percent to 3,422.76 points, while in Frankfurt the DAX 30 was off by 0.16 percent at 6,960.02 points.
