Tokyo, Japan – Bridgestone announced that its subsidiary in Poland, Bridgestone Stargard, has decided to increase production capacity of truck and bus radial tires (TBR). The total investment will be approximately EUR 120 million (approximately 12.6 billion yen). The planned expansion will increase the plant’s production capacity by approximately 1,350 tires per day, bringing the plant’s capacity to approximately 3,750 tires per day. The expansion is expected to be complete during the second half of 2014.
