Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Rise; Sellers Asking For THB120/Kg

Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber rise to THB88.86-THB89.09/kg from THB88.23-THB88.36/kg Wednesday, tracking gains on bellwether Tocom. “Now that prices are higher, many sellers are coming out and trying to sell their stocks, but many of them are asking for THB120/kg,” says a trader; THB120/kg is the government target rate for USS3. Outside the central markets, factories are paying around THB90-THB92/kg. Sales in Thailand’s three main central markets total around 66.2 tons Thursday versus 73.6 tons Wednesday: 21.2 tons in Hat Yai, 37 tons in Surat Thani, 8 tons in Chandee.
