Detroit – General Motors has selected Goodyear’s ultra-high performance Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 tire as the exclusive original equipment fitment for the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The tires, in size 285/35ZR20 (front) and 305/35ZR20 (rear), have been optimized specifically for the ZL1 “to yield outstanding handling while maintaining excellent street tire performance for wet handling, treadwear, low noise and rolling resistance,” according to the company.
The car is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that generates up to 580 horsepower.
