London — Rubber prices recovered slightly overnight, but remain well below yen 300 in Tokyo. On Tokyo’s Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up by yen 2, at yen 283 ($3.63) per kg on Tuesday 8 Nov. Shorter-dated prices fell by around 2 yen to close at yen 273.
In Singapore, SGX said short-dated prices for RSS3 fell to close at $3.50. TSR20 for March delivery also fell, to close at $3.53.
In India, NMCE said November deliveries fell by over Rs 2 on Tuesday, to close at Rs 205 ($4.15) per kilo.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw November deliveries fell by a fraction of a yuan to close at Yuan 27.1 ($4.27) per kilo.
